Sheriff's Bio
Author and radio
personality, Rory D. Sheriff, has traveled the world three times
over living in various cities and countries. He contributes his
time in the United States Army with the experiences he applied to
his life which enabled him to tap into his creative side.
After
being honorably discharged, Sheriff made the decision to return
home to Reading, PA, where he attended Temple University and Alvernia
College. Majoring Mass Communications, he first honed and shaped
his skills as an intern at Philadelphias Power 99 where
he was mentored by one of the stations most familiar voices, better
known as Golden Boy. Also, during this time, Sheriff also discovered
he had a gift for writing.
Starting with poetry, Sheriff would
become inspired to write by the simple things in life only to find
that before he knew it stacks of note books full of poetry filled
his room. Being influenced by such authors as Mary B. Morrison and
Zane, he realized he also has a unique way with words and creative
expression, thus setting out to write his first erotic novel, Get
N Serious. Not knowing where it would lead or how his writing
would be received, he took control his own destiny and reinvented
himself by finally becoming a legitimate author.
Sheriffs
thirteen year career in the radio industry (he was heard in three different markets: Charlotte, NC, Greensboro, NC, and Columbia, SC) also laid the foundation
for him in creating a well recognized name in the
literary community. He currently resides in Charlotte NC.
